my post was not directed to anyone other than posting on the subject.

Arming teachers? not for it. i assume many teachers do not want to be armed. will it become a requirement for a postion, tenure. let's not walk over other people's rights to not carry a weapon.

offer training as requirement to get a gun not leave it up to schools, public places , etc. just like a drivers license,, perhaps to carry a hand gun you need to pass a proficiency test. no test to own a gun in your home etc. but if you want to carry a concealed weapon you have demonstrate ability to hit something if you shoot a weapon.?

hopefully , someone is looking at both sides of the issues and not tunnel vision.

What about arming the teachers? The admin? Make the requirements more stringent.

What about putting those who use a gun (or knife) in the commission of a crime in jail for 20 years minimum? What about serious consequences for owning an
unlicensed gun?

What about Senator James Webb,( Dem..VA) attempting to get his gun in the SOB.

What about WACO? Why is Janet Reno walking around with a Government pension?

Leaving security to University administrations who are anti-Bush, anti-gun, anti-war, anti America will not lead to a good outcome.

Why not arm the ROTC students once they have completed a basic course? Is there some reason that having been accepted into the program they are not qualified? Of course it would be concealed carry and volunteer, but if someone had done JROTC and was now in the program it seems to me you have a force worth having.

Perhaps you could make a special holster so the clips were carried beside the gun instead of loaded to make the Liberals feel safe. or use crowd control rounds or airline rounds? I don't know if rubber crowd control bullets will fit in their weapons, but I suspect that it wouldn't be hard to make some.
