I presented X with a terror plot against a school much like what happened in russia. In my case, we captured someone who we knew could give us info that would save the kids. And the person we captured was not a 10 year old christian kid who somehow was working for bin laden as in your example. The Russia attack did occur. Folks have been worried for years that are schools are vulnerable to islamist terrorists, not ordinary kids. Of course in your scenario if there was to be a child involved, he would be islamic and would i hurt him to save 1000 kids????? Whatever i answer doesnt make me happy so i will not answer. Can you imagine if you saw 1000 kids die and you could have prevented it by hurting one person? Can you say with certainty if your kid was one of the thousand, you would sit idly by and do nothing????? Iktomi said it was like sophies choice--yes she is right. Its a decision we will never have to make but someone, somewhere at some time, might. So lets not be so smug.

Truth be told G, i dont know what i would do in any of these cases, but neither does X nor you, if you were both to be truthful. You should ask you mom and dad how they feel when you get home from High School today. (LOL--cheap shot, i know, but you sound so young to me in your writings.) How old are you? Do you have a family? I dunno if anyone can get this unless they have kids. I would happily throw myself in front of a bus to save my kids and grandkids. Frankly i would like to believe i would do the same for yours and ktomis.
