I think a dem will win in 08. But I also would be ok with Romney or Guiliani. Basically I think Bush and the "Bush team" are really ignorant people, the ideology is not the only thing wrong with Bush- if you look at his history he has NEVER had any individual successes in his life- ever. Romney otoh is a tremendously successful manager. We've got a fiscal meltdown in washington after this tremendous Bush and republican pork problem. Somebody who knows how to run companies will be better at fixing that. We've got the baby boom retirement now and there are some fiscal challenges ahead. One huge problem is whoever is in charge needs to quit letting the drug industry ripoff the US taxpayer among other things.
