A river gasps for life

The Ganga is ‘dying’, and fast. The most revered river of the country can no longer be classified as "threatened". If the WWF report ‘World’s top 10 rivers at risk’ is any indication, continuous water withdrawal, pollution and climate change have together created a situation of very high risk for our most famous river, reports Vibha Sharma
===

With a basin spread over an amazing 1,016, 124 square km, covering parts of India, Nepal, China and Bangladesh, the river supports a population of more than 200 million. The Ganga basin occupies 30 per cent of the land area in India and interestingly one in 12 people in the world live in its catchment area.

So what i said about getting bin laden in the tribal areas is something a new pakistani govt under lets say Bhutto would do with our help of course? So it is more than publcity according to the article. Bin Laden now has just a safe a haven as he used to in afganistan before 9/11. You need to clarify your position a bit Kumar. Lets forget the MacDonalds debate for a second. Bin Laden is Warren Buffet and if he is taken out next BRK folds because international banking system wont allow necessary transfers to take place and no new Saudi hotheads will be able to pick up the mantle. That was my point. So as smart as Warren Buffet on his death quality of leadership is far more similar to jimmy than warren and al quaeda in pakistan resembles Margueritaville rather than what it is today.
