I don't know that I would agree that most people are well informed.

How about yourself? Are you well enough informed?

Media in the US have been pretty lame these past few years, and the talk radio circuit is little more than moronic propaganda. Having said that, eventually Americans figure out what is going on -- even if it takes a few years as it did with the invasion of Iraq. On the other hand, we are now witnessing the next round of war mongering via talk radio and are subject to further stupidity. The poor condition of US media leaves the US exposed to something less than a well informed electorate. In addition to self-serving and dishonest politicians, the sorry state of our media is a major source of rot within our democracy. Had our media done a better job, it is unlikely that we would have been so easily duped in invading Iraq.

You just sound like a glass half empty guy to me. US media is probably the best in the entire planet, and provides more diverse views on every subject and greater ease of availability that anywhere else in the world. All you've done with that wonderful performance by the US media is decide that it's not good enough.....for you.

If US media is so bad, where's the model you think the US should emulate? Where? I didn't hear you. Where?
