<Foreign policy disaster, huh?> Absolutely. Iraq is in complete shambles, the region is increasingly unstable in a way that harms our long term interests and terrorism has never been stronger. Tens of thousands of American lives have been lost and shattered for nothing. We are in the final stages of suffering a tragic defeat of our our making. And we have ruined our financial and military capability in the process. This is the most significant self-inflicted foreign policy in American history -- far worse than Vietnam in terms of its long term damage.
