Well, Iranian intelligence officers have been captured in Iraq. Iran is also shipping missiles and other weapons and explosives into Iraq. This is in defiance of UNSC resolutions though nothing will be done about it. Iranian revolutionary guards have been sent to Lebanon as well to assist and train their Hezbollah proxies.

As for Iran being untouchable -- no aggressor nation is untouchable.

But you said we could not do anything without UN approval. Practically speaking UN approval for an attack on Iran is unthinkable...

If Iran attacks other countries then they are absolutely subject to counter-attack -- as you well know.

If they UN says so, according to the standard you have laid down.
