he has no answer to your question or mine. My gut says its going to be hard to have peace. As an American and as a Jew i feel a responsibility to always pursue it. Wouldnt change that even if i could. If you listen only to your gut, there wuold never be human progress. Sometimes nadine you have to listen to your heart and even take some chances.

"Peace can be had if two sides want peace. If only one side wants peace, then peace cannot be had."

Massive wartime victory has a way of making the other party desire peace, or pretend to do so. There will never be peace through weakness, only subjugation.

Do you see any sign that the Pals want peace? Does Fatah? Does Hamas? Does Hezbullah? Where is their peace party? What do they really want?

Reply if you want to continue this discussion.

Sure, I'll give it a shot.

The 150k Pal refugees that were nationalized by Barak, they turned into normal peaceful Arab Israelis (Pals want peace), or they remained bloodthirsty violent killers and are all now in jail or dead (Pals don't want peace)?

Which was it? How are those Palestinians that received their desired "right of return" doing these days?
