Regarding the puts the game isn't over yet. Regardless, it's unreasonable to expect anyone to perfectly time the market.

The ECB "flooded the market". The Fed injected money to maintain the funds rate. In other words, ECB is panicking, Fed is standing pat.

I added the puts to create positive convexity in my portfolio not for monetary gain.

I believe that equity is the cheap asset class and it should do better than other leveraged asset classes.

However, I am scared of the ramifications of what is going on.

It's as easy as that, I've been pretty transparent about my view on equity but my fear is that market technicals will create fundamental issues in the real economy.
