"If the injunction Broadcom is seeking today is granted (a likely result) the possibility of workarounds is remote."

What's your reasoning ?

Why do you think the possibility of a workaround is remote? If these were some oh-so-great patents they darn sure would not have been sold as some odd lot collection for a trivial sum. In addition, why should we assume that Q would work diligently towards a workaround for only one patent of BRCM's when three more are potentially lined up against them? My guess is that since Q waited until the last moment to discuss the already shipping workaround for one patent they definitely would not jump the gun on the other three. I would not be surprised if the already mentioned workaround includes these as well.
