DeLay Blasts Lauer on Craig Coverage I have to say I am amazed how the GOP responded to Craig. I actually feel a little sorry for him even though he was not a very nice guy. What ultimately prompted his resignation was the GOP senatorial campaign committee would not support his re election next year. Forget that there seems to be be a double standard in play here......Craig vs Vitter. But after 18 years in the Senate, you think your 'friends' would be slightly more sympathetic. One thing is clear......to one's ownself be true.
