I've sniped at some of the regionals, but I prefer to do it with the ones I'm familiar with, ie, based in Phoenix/Vegas. One prominent one out here is "Western Alliance Bancorp", famous for being run by the owner of the Phoenix Suns. They've taken quite a header this year (I've scalped it short for a few points here and there). No position currently (maybe if they bounce back to 25): They lend to a lot of commercial and residential developers out here, so there a$$ has to be in a sling (at least somewhat). I just try to make enough for my Suns tickets for the year out of it.....<G>
