they said Kennedy was young and he was a great president...Obama has many of the same qualities...I really feel that Obama is the only Democratic candidate that has the potential to win in a landslide election too (Newsweek's Jonathan Alter wrote about this the other day)...Obama is the true "uniter" and has the broadest support from Independents and moderate republicans. Many of the elites would prefer to have a president like Romney or Hillary (since they know exactly what to expect from them)...Yet, Obama would be a better president for our entire country (and smart folks like Oprah, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, Ken Burns, and Ted Sorensen aren't supporting Obama by accident)...stay tuned -- this 2008 election could be historic and I feel we may finally break free from the Bush-Cheney dynasty that has been ruling our country for too many years.

AS, you are welcome to state your views. However, race and gender based remarks are not welcome, however true you think they maybe. What we post here will not impact the outcome of the IOwa elections. However, I hope you realize that what we post here does indeed impact how others feel entering and leaving this thread. The overall sentiment on this thread is to be be race and gender neutral (something I gathered from the PMs). So please restrain yourself and not repeat such things over and over again. But yes, keep the flame of Edwards burning on this thread. He is a viable candidate and like Obama and Hillary has the potential to become President. Thank you for your co-operation and sensitivity
