I can't speak for Bobby. But for myself, I'm willing to pay higher taxes. Much of my income is at 15% LT capital gains.

But I'm not going to voluntarily send a check to the IRS, LOL.
I want higher taxation mandated. The pain is spread and the amounts raised are meaningful.

<<Collective sacrifice is a nice blanket statement>>

Thank you sir.....and its also something we've become accustomed to not having to do.

<<Go out and buy something>>

Where have I heard that before?!?

<<Just raising taxes for inept politicians to spend doesnt do the job>>

Has this country ever had tax cuts during wartime before this administration? There needs to be some sacrifice for EVERYBODY to share in to shoulder the burden and raising taxes by x% to specifically offset war spending will be the best and easiest solution. How do you suggest this massive burden on our treasury be paid for? By running out and buying a magnetic yellow ribbon for the back of your SUV....LOL
