Is it the lower margins?

10/31/07 10-Q, page 35:

Gross Profit

Our gross margin in the three months ended October 31, 2007 was 25.2%, down from 33.1% for the three months ended October 31, 2006. The principal contributor to the year-over-year decline in gross margin was the decline in our average selling prices, partially offset by reductions in our production costs. During the three months ended October 31, 2007, the average selling prices of our products decreased, in large part due to an increase in the proportion of sales represented by lower margin VGA image sensors as compared to the three months ended October 31, 2006.

OT

They are a bit player in a big market. Lots of much bigger players.

Wouldn't touch them.

Elroy, I've been watching SNDK, it's somewhat similar except it is a leader in flash and flash products, has lots of IP that major vendors pay for, meets or exceeds it's quarterly numbers, has a decent balance sheet, and guess what, the stock has gone from 60 to 30 in a few short months. Admittedly, flash prices recently have cratered, but this one has really been taken to the woodshed and sells for a low PE. Mr. Market for you!

Regards,
John
