My web host, if asked, could restore any e-mail from at least the last five years. The RNC and the White House aren't that sophisticated? Come on.

Like I said, Intel apparently isn't that "sophisticated" either.

Yeah, right. I am glad to see your koolaid drinking is not restricted only to the Church and the RNC. Consistency suggests a well ordered mind, doesn't it?

Or they're sneaky like the White House and RNC.

>It's all too easy to make this stuff fall into the bit bucket. Negligence or ulterior motives? Politics can always fill in THAT blank.

Are you serious in this case? Come on. Did you see the stats on this administration's expenditures on paper shredding? Secrecy is what they do...

I worked for a software outfit where our tech savy, married VP who was having a torrid affair with an administrative assistant sent her a hot, explicit love email to everyone in the company.

Somehow, he managed to take all the knowing looks he got for the next six months..

I used to wear a system admin. hat. I backed up out servers every day, and everyone's machine once a week, which included all the emails. I kept tapes forever. Why not, they were cheap.
