Well said. And since lack of a thoughtful plan was one of the major errors we made going in, it shouldn't be one we make as we leave.
I think I will just start adding, "Yeah, what she said" to most of your posts.
My voting plan looks like a phone tree. If this, then go to A. If not, go to B. It's not at all party-related at this point.

Obama has said repeatedly that he wouldn't pull the soldiers out all at once, and that we have some responsbilities now that we are there. Those who want to be out in 6 months will be disappointed with Obama, as they are with the current Democratic congressional majority. But they will be far more disappointed with McCain and Republican majorities in Congress.
