Why didn't they keep it safe before 9-11 and on 9-11?

Bush was warned about 9-11 and did absolutely nothing.

The phony claim that he's kept us "safe" since then misses the obvious point. Ubnlike Clinton who stopped the 1999 LAX bombing by Al Qaida, Bush was warned but just let it happen. In fact during the 9-11 attacks, he sat reading grade-schoolers "My Pet Goat" with no sense or urgency. And his first priority was to make sure all his Saudi pals got out of the country without being interrogated by the FBI, even though evidence now proves the Saudi government knew about 9-11 before it happened and one of their reps was meeting with some of the hijackers.

Also, didn't Bush let Bin Laden walk away at Tora Bora with that ridiculous cease fire? And didn't he say he doesn't care about Bin Laden anymore? And didn't the Bin Laden family invest many millions in Bush family ventures?

Bush didn't stop the terrorist attack in Times Square yesterday.
