Lotta energy stocks in there....some of the tankers look especailly weak recently (TK, NAT in particular). If energy tanks, the tankers will tank best methinks....<G>
The tanker stocks do best when the economy is roaring and is very oil-demand driven. A recession will drop demand and tanker rates will plummet. Note the 52 week closing low (in keeping with yer thesis<G>):
