I watched a program the other day on the The Science Channel called Aftermath: Population Zero. It projects what would happen to the earth if humanity suddenly disappeared.

The reason I mention it is to note the perspective of the program. Now, I happen to be someone who would prefer a much smaller human population but even I was startled and the apparent glee of the show at the prospect of the earth being saved from humanity and bloom environmentally speaking.

I'll have to watch Bush's War if only to draw my own conclusions about how straight they tell that story.

I'm part of the PBS Masterpiece Theatre choir, did you know that every villan in a Jane Austin novel is based upon a Democrat living today. Now you don't learn things like that in any Fox choir.

It takes the above to make PBS over all balanced and fair.

I hope that you watched it. It's really on Frontline but shown on PBS... I am completely fascinated by the machinations of the Washington machine. Dale often describes if but not in the detail that show how a few men or even one man is allowed to wield so much power.. and I am not talking about Bush.

Mcnamara was really remiss in not sending troops to the CIA in Afghanistan for a month when the Al Quada were trapped. And when you find it why... it was because back in Washington he was negotiating his power to have control over the war which at the time was in the jurisdiction of the CIA.

We could have done a lot to have ended the whole mess had we continued to pursue Afghanistan and not diverted our attention to Iraq. Just my opinion..
