Good onyer Tyke!!!

<<the prime asset of the new company will be the interest in El Morro, I believe. That, and the fact that Telfer and Pierre Lassonde are on the board, seems to indicate that the story is far from over. I haven't sold a share or a warrant and I don't intend to.>>

I agree that there may be a lot of upside in this one yet. But frankly I was a bit disappointed to see MR taken out at this stage. I think we could have realised greater value as a stand-alone play with El Morro as the flagship. But Telfer and Lassonde are brilliant at recognising value -- and buying it. We shall see...

Anyway, I decided to move on today and sell my MR.WT. Parting is such sweet sorrow. :^(

I put the proceeds into some more shares of a pile of beaten up juniors -- BTO, ELN, EPM.WT, HLO, SCM and SWN. Is bottom fishing a better strategy at this stage than investing in a new mid-cap producer with some wizz kids on the board? Maybe not, but it could cost you a pint either way! <g>

Best regards,
Howy

ngd.to - yes, Lassonde and Telfer were two names that stuck out, caught my interest this morning ... you're probably right about el Morro being the prime property eventually, but guess who will be making the most bucks on it ... for the rest of us, the way to best play it may be that a-model warrant, once mr+wt is gone ... still have a bit of Metallica common in another account, may just keep it for the time being

trx.v - 917 millions, woo, add in another eight per cent contingency and that's a billion loonies ... which they make every day, sure they do, still just try to get that many all together in one spot ... you'd need to make a judgment of the people involved i guess, gauge their ability to get financed ... overall numbers do look good yes, not high grade so could be vulnerable to cost rises, on the other hand fairly low strip ratio

slk.v - sacrificed my Selkirk last summer in favour of PMs, reluctantly at the time but glad now, it's cheaper ... they signed an MoU or some kind of agreement with the indians on Catface as Doublestar, didn't they, didn't you post that last year? ... but this is another one, no doubt ... it was always Ruddock i liked it for, and still do, that looks very much like a mine ... can't see videos like that, on dialup here

lth.v - Lithic is another zinc play beat way down, good solid resource and huge upside, under two bits ... zinc will come back into fashion, Coxe had one small comment on that this week, that it could perform somewhat this year
