CB and the USA don't have much to worry about from China You must be kidding all the way from New Zealand. US politicians do worry about the rise of China, and that's why folks like CB is spreading Sinonoia everywhere. That's their thinking process of pure imagination about the place far away in the East and actually know little about the culture and stuff. They all know their manufacturing jobs are gone, money are gone. But remember that's the ultimate American capitalism invention which dictates how where what to profit at the best possible way. People (perhaps unlike you) are woking under suppressive way in industrial age and stuck in this current system with worthless paper payment. Care to read some workers' stories in early industrialized England ? The English worked like slave too. You can't deny the fact that NZ people have naive thinking while living in countryside away from high-tech industrial city. I have lived and worked in US for 18 years, and I know the reality of rushing to early working hours sitting in cubicle stressed out all day long only to come back home watching the home price going down the drain. You are amazed to see a lot of women are enjoying working for the world's manufactoring products. What's the list of Made in China inventions of the last 60 years? See. That's the problem of showing off your inventions with pride. In essence, you have lost the element of surprise, when other people can know your stage but they actually throw you off the hook by giving you a bad impression that they are not there yet. Give you one example. Did the Chinese tell you how accupuncture actually works ? Of course not. Some chinese would say to you "If it works, it simply works !" And the west thought that it could just be another random magical performance. But the Chinese knew the medical treatment was so important and vital to modern illness that they simply kept the west out of it. It's only until recently does the west experiment its miracle during peace time, and the chinese don't even bother to ask you a dime for whatever licensing fees. They keep saying it is ancient, but who knows how much the medical treatment has evolved into advanced stage during the past 60 years. Yeah, i don't give any damn credit to Mao, since he was a terrible leader. But what can I say when political mishap was causing delays of chinese advancement ? Let's be honest, the west and somehow You .. are afraid of how China would & will advance, and you are trying to bring racism and sexism in the debate. I can't go on to argue with you as you always jump up first and initiate the finger pointing. Yeah, you win, but so what ...... By the way, care to make a list of New Zealand inventions of the last 60 years ?
