I think you would have to give even a lawyer specializing in constitutional issues a week to do research and a considerable amount of money to offer a meaningful opinion on the decision.

When I clerked for a federal judge it wasn't that uncommon for a clerk to work six months or more on a single case if it was a particularly complex one.

<<<Anyway, To be told you are on a "side" is insulting.>>>

There are two sides to this question. It is clearly delineated on multiple levels.

There are intelligent people that come down on each side. At the end of the day, it comes down to one's world view.

All arguments can and should be boiled down to a level that ordinary people like me can understand them.

To argue for arguments sake is a waste of time.

I like to take complex issues and boil it down to a level that I can understand. That is why I post here. I post my simple understanding of the issue and if I am wrong, then my simple understandings should be refuted and even ridiculed. I won't take it personally as long as it is only my ideas are ridiculed.

I don't see where hiding my feelings on matters that I post can be helpful. That just seems .... let me see .... I can't find the word for it .....the best I can do .. is .......ridiculous....

to boil it down to one paragraph quotes and say how obvious it is, strikes me as extremely arrogant.

One sees a lot of that wherever ideology reigns.

Why, even I myself, have been accused at times of being arrogant! Imagine! Both here and at the bridge table! <g>.

I know, you didn't know that bridge is an ideological game <g>.

I am not in disagreement with the decision, and I havne't gotten the impression that Lane3 is either.

I haven't read the opinion yet. Ergo I do not yet agree or disagree with it.
