How much fun is that! It is wonderful you still have that same magic now as in the awkward teen years.
Congratulations!

Sounds wonderful Ken. I think it's great you attend these events every year.

My mom had a reunion scheduled this weekend. Saline HS, Class of 1948. There were only about 25 in the entire class, and that number is greatly reduced.

My brother, his son and I drove out last night to meet with Luke Schaible, one of her classmates who is hosting the event this year. He is a farmer who still farms 1500 acres. We took out old pictures, yearbooks and other items from my mom's files, and had a great visit with him and his wife. I think he was pleased that we visited and were interested in his recollections of his High School years.

BTW, the picture of my mom that I posted was, I believe, her senior picture.

Treasure your friendships with those you went to school with. To some, the ties may not have been that important back at graduation, but they increase in importance with the passing years, IMO.

I second what Smithee just said....after just having our 50th...(I s.t.i.l.l.) can't believe it's been that many years...

But we too, just had a blast! I think mostly we are all so glad that there are that many of us still walking, talking, and laughing no matter what pitfalls have been in our path.

Keep up those friendships...I think they are really important!
