I totally agree with that sentiment; however, McCain is the one we can count on to get it done--Obama represents liberal political realities, which always place the military at the bottom of their priority list. In an Obama administration, assisted by the Democrat congress, numerous social programs would take precedence over additional funds for troop benefits.

You are the one that brought up WWII as the issue. I knew there was no comparison and it was a mistake.

What this thread needs is more reality and less partisanship if people truly want a better country. My opinion is that people posting here want a stronger party instead. The party in no way is the answer.
