Agree. I don't get the put downs on Alaska. Howard Dean was from Vermont which is even smaller in population than Alaska. But, I would say Alaska a bigger job.

Her logical career path is to complete two terms as Alaska governor. Then take some time off for travel/education before considering new options.

I do not think either Obama or Palin have enough experience.

My point is that I doubt she has any expertise beyond natural resource issues, and a top Washington politician has to be a consummate multitasker to survive.

I think she would be a fine Senate candidate now or soon, not that I would vote for her policy positions but it wouldn't be a huge reach from the Alaska governorship.
