Well dont worry, Obama has had 18 months experience running his campaign and preparing for these questions.

If someone asked me to characterize Bush's successful policy to defend our nation against terrorism I would have answered the definition you provided.

Honestly when is the last time that the Bush doctrine was actually the "dominant theme" of the Bush Administration's foreign policy?

Its even more out of date than complaining that we need to regain the trust of European leaders (when Italy, Germany and France are now ruled by conservatives) and Britain's Labor party was an original signee of the "Bush doctrine".
