Jindal said no. That bit of accepted fact may be wholly folkloric. I haven't seen anything reliable suggesting that it was offered to him. I could find out and will. he would be getting equally bad treatment from the likes of Gibson and Couric. Perhaps, but he would have made mincemeat out of them, overwhelmed them with his competence. No question would be unanswered. Bobby is very intelligent and very likable.

When you comes right down to it, what basically makes her unqualified in the eyes of some is she is a woman. If any man had been placed in the V.P. spot with similar qualifications, they wouldn't be saying boo about it. The same thing is true regarding the Alaskan establishments brohoo over her getting rid of a man who worked for her. Woman just can't do that you know! And they especially can't do that if they are attractive. Good looking women must be dumb and non-assertive. The only women, who can act like a man and be in charge politically, have to be unattractive like Hillary, and Pelosi. I would define it as the Bimbo-syndrome. Biden is an absolute embarrassment to be considered as a potential President of the United States. If the press were after him the way they are Palin, I wouldn't be bit surprised to discover he's an alcoholic. The way he rambles on and on, especially in the evening when talking to individuals alone, reminds me of a walking high tolerance scotch drinking drunk.
