It's been getting colder around here as the day goes on. They seriously missed today's forecast. It's only 45 right now with a breeze out of the north.

My chicken noodle soup recipe comes from a bag of "soup starter". I have a couple pounds of chicken "wingettes" that I'll boil for 20 minutes. Take out wings and throw away the skin and bones, then add the starter plus a bunch more noodles, a spud I've had for a while and what ever doesn't stick to the bottom of the fridge.

I do, but soup is an all day venture for me since I start with making the stock for about 6/8 hours. Can't have good soup without good stock but most folks aren't going to dedicate that kind of time to a soup:) But during the winter when snowed in it's a good Saturday project to make some stock and freeze and whatever and then make a batch of soup for the football game on Sunday.
