1988-1990 3 brackets 15% 33% IRS
1991-1992 3 brackets 15% 31% IRS

In fact, right now with the Bush tax cuts in force, the rich are taxed at the lowest rates than they ever have been in my life.

I never said a progressive tax structure was socialist. But taking money from people who pay taxes and giving it to people who don't just because they have less, is. buying up interests in banks and insurance companies, is.

Taxes are not too low to balance the budget. Government spending is too high to balance the budget.

As far as the plutocracy comment you made. I don't understand what you are saying. Do you mean that if we have a less progressive tax structure than you think we should have that gives the rich political power?
