Well, the article (from L.A. Times) that you were responding to noted that no Congressional Democrats had called for any such thing, nor was there any such legislation:

And I (in an earlier reply to one of rivel's posts wherein he'd claimed that Congressional Democrats were proposing to <i<confiscate private retirement accounts) pointed out that no such thing had happened.

That the *very article he'd posted* had clearly stated that they had spoken out AGAINST the silly suggestion. (I also noted that ARGENTINA had done such a stupid, stupid Big Government thing):
