Steve

I find it most arrogant and offensive that the UAW has essentially said FU in response to talk about concessions in exchange for a bailout. While the libs argue they aren't the problem, it is clear they are. But even if you accept the premise that they aren't the ENTIRE problem, it is self-evident they are a significant portion of the problem.

These guys jobs are obviously on the line and they are still not willing to give up anything to keep working. I ran into an employee of Countrywide last night who is taking a 40% pay cut. Yet, unskilled UAW members think they should get out of this self-inflicted problem scott-free?

F them. I don't give a crap. It is a shame, but I think the end of Detroit may be near, and I can only say they deserve it. Perhaps the liberals will learn from this blunder (although they seem to be very slow learners).

wonder how many jobs unions are costing?

I'm pretty sure you have no clue how much unions have meant to this country.
