Lotta foot dragging getting Citi ironed out tonight... common share holders will probably get wiped out anyhow it is sliced... They wanted to get the deal done before Asian markets opened but no dice...

Looks like some kind of a hybrid deal... since the government decided TARP not working...

Under the proposal, the government would shoulder losses at Citigroup if those losses exceeded certain levels

If the government should have to take on the bigger losses, it would receive a stake in Citigroup.

Wow, us taxpayers could own even more worthess pos.
