lost another 1/2" for the week. I'm not doing smoothies, but I must confess I'm eating sugar free/fat free jello with sugar free cool whip a couple of times a week.

I'm down 4lbs--the same 4 I gained over the Thanksgiving holiday. It also helped that I was sick last week and had no appetite. Making lemonade from lemons. Now at 219.

223.8 Down 1 6/10ths pound from last week. Lost the 6/10ths I gained last week, plus a pound for this week. 28.3 BMI. I guess this weekly "roller coaster" is to be expected.

I don't expect to lose much this week, if any. Will indulge a little over Christmas. I tried a dessert last week I REALLY like. Cooked sliced apples with cinnamon and whipped cream. I made the whipped cream with whipping cream, vanilla, and splenda. Bought a flat of Granny Smiths at Costco, and cook up about three apples at one time. I get 5 servings out of each batch. Each apple contains about 17 grams of sugar, so I get about 10 grams a serving. That's almost two and one half teaspoons of sugar per serving. But worth it. I need the fat content from the cream anyway. It's hard to adjust to the fact that some fat is not bad for you, while sugar, wheat and corn are always bad. Tried the Diet Jello, but it's not for me.

I sampled some Belgium Chocolates at Costco today and could not resist them. Dark chocolate centers, just delicious, but expensive. A box of 60 hearts is $17! Twenty eight cents apiece for bon-bons. But what the hell, it's the holidays. I will take them along with me dancing on Christmas Eve. Give "Hearts to my sweethearts." That will stop me from pigging out on them.
