Republicans lost the election. Why should they be able to dictate the legislation? Obama has a mandate for change.

A leader would separate the bill into two...the stimulus is what we need passed right now. The welfare portion should not be included and that can run its course...but what we are seeing is the same old thing...adding the kitchen sink to a bill...to jam through special agendas. Change was only a slogan and with only 34% approval on the bill from a recent poll, it shows that this is another major mistake made by a very inexperienced President. He could have made the right decision and looked like a star...
