That one is all over the news. Ole' Blarney Frank said if they don't want the govie coming down on them then give the money back. Hey Barn'...try some strings BEFORE you give the money out.

"Under Kerry's legislation, which would take effect on March 1, a TARP recipient could not "host, sponsor, pay for conferences and events and pay for holiday or entertainment events for the year in which they receive TARP funds."" Just a backdoor way of forcing companies that didn't want the dough to give it back, just like Frank said today. They'd rather be on the brink than give up the bonuses and other corporate perks.
