This guy...if it's not happening to him, it's not happening. He must live in a cocoon, he seems totally unaware of what's really happening in the country. Politically and economically.

"This guy...if it's not happening to him, it's not happening. " It isn't that so much as he has to put ideology ahead of everything. It fits his ideology to blame a recession on the Democrats for talking the economy down. And the only way to do that is to pretend that everything was fine in 2007 and things didn't sour until 2008H2.
