"No, the problem is that "us wingnuts" want to correct the bias that is prevalent, wherever we find it."

And they do it by violating rules? Sounds more like propaganda.

"Last week, it was disclosed that Keith Olbermann had been lying about his having attended Cornell, claiming he attended an "Ivy-league" university."

He attended a college that is part of the Cornell University system.

"So, if I attended the University of North Texas, I can say, "I'm a graduate of the University of Texas" when that is not, in fact, correct."

You couldn't make the claim because UNT is not part of the UT system. You could, however, claim to be a Teasip if you graduated from UT El Paso.

Inode, > Last week, it was disclosed that Keith Olbermann had been lying about his having attended Cornell, claiming he attended an "Ivy-league" university.

OMG, you really have to start thinking for yourself.

Keith Olbermann did indeed attend Cornell. Ann Coulter, who is also from Cornell, is twisting the truth, saying that the Ag school in Cornell isn't really Cornell.

Really? Guess all of my Cornell friends who attended the Ag school aren't really from Cornell either. Some of them went on to med school and are now doctors; I should inform the boards that they "padded their resumes" ...
