Why stop with Eisenhower?

The US, at Truman's behest, provided support for the French effort to overthrown Ho Chi Minh. Much of the French effort was financed by us.

If you're going to count conceptual support, why stop with Eisenhower? Truman's support was totally based on the Domino theory.
