Why would anyone think so?

In fact in some recent interview in the San Jose Mercury News
McNealy said that McCraken is a "nice guy". As for Ed McCraken
I'm told no one has ever heard him say a bad thing about anyone.
Yes, he seems to be a *very* nice guy, and maybe that's a part
of the problem. What I mean is that a CEO may need to take off
the gloves sometimes (like Scott McNealy is often doing)
