The really cool thing about it is, the guy basically just said hate crimes target the right...the only way that could be true would be if the right were exclusively, or dominantly, participating in hate crimes.

:-)

Now that's a winner of an argument...not

I watched a two hour presentation on PBS which is the first of a three part series. Leave it to me to forget the name.

However the second part if on this Wednesday night at 9pm.

It is archival material that has been put together along with personal interviews of survivors of the WW II era and
the relationships amongst Russia,Germany,Great Britain and
USA....

It is reenacted with look alike actors speaking in the native tongue so that a lot of it is closed caption superimposed on
the screen.

Basically it showed all the machinations that went on between
Hitler and Stalin before the war where Hitler ceded half of Poland to Stalin and they signed a 10 year pact of friendship. Of course Hitler was the first to break that one.

Churchill hated Stalin but said he would go to bed with the devil of it hastened the fall of the Nazi's...

FDR thought he could control every one but Stalin was crafty,
deceitful and without heart. He murdered 27 million of his own people and he also murdered 400 Polish elite Army officers
because they had defeated him in one war. Later he lied to the Polish officers who had fled the country when they inquired as to where they comrades were.

I found it fascinating but anyone who had any idea that
Communism under Stalin was a grand idea initiated by Lenin would be sorely disappointed in some of the stories here.

Great look into History only able to be told AFTER the fall of communism.

I don't know of anything constructive the Republicans have
to offer. Their new budget ? Presented without figures.
They criticize Obama and attack every thing positive.

The defection of Spector really rankles them and the nice
guy is now persona non Grata. It doesn't take much.
Common sense does not prevail. Just anger and attack attack and attack.

They will never win back former Republicans nor their political power unless they change their tactics.

There is some good in everyone. Even Obama's appearances
on any TV program at fodder for attack.

Washington State has flu death of man in his 30's. He had been given retrovirols. Now over 4,000 cases world wide. This could be very nasty next fall.
