"Say they dropped a nuke on South Korea somewhere." But, even this is insane. I think NK acts crazy on purpose, but it's not really insane. Because that act would END N. Korea.

Now Kim Jong-il may be crazy but he is far from stupid. He certainly knows that would be in the cards. Why this reasoning escapes the wingers and michael is beyond me. There is something to that article RW posted.

Besides becoming un-cooperative, I don't foresee any squashing. Besides, China would just let US get its hands dirty and heckle from the sideline (joining the Europeans and Russians there). IMO, NK is testing how weak Obama is, probing if he the US guarantee of protective umbrella over SK can be weakened, or even proven worthless. This would leave SK exposed, exposed to potential blackmail. Joe
