you are almost childlike in your naivete. Do you really think this is some part of global goodness movement for folks who think like you? I hope he wins too but a coalition of women, students, intellectuals along with the urban and urbane usually loses to the townies, religious, and populists who in this case support A. Before the wall came down and with it all the velvet revolutions, there was czech in 68 and hungary in 56--movements that were brutally crushed by tyrants. "Yes, we can!"

I want the guys with the green flags. I guess I like the color. That, and it was the one they showed on the news last night. I think they had a million person chain thru the city. Hope they get a winner; runoffs can be tampered with a lot easier than in a 4 person race. News is saying record turnouts. Gobama, Go Green

Having a liberated Iraq next door has caused the Iranian people to take a second look at their own situations, and they know it is time for them to do away with their Leftist terrorist, Jew-hating president, in favor of a more moderate one. Unfortunately, even if he is kicked out, the new guy will likely have a nominal effect. Still, it is a positive thing that the Iraq War has brought about something of an uprising from the Iranian people.
