China's U.N. ambassador, Zhang Yesui, said the resolution showed the "firm opposition" of the international community to North Korea's nuclear ambitions, but he urged countries to exercise caution when inspecting North Korean cargo.

What concerns me......does this mean that China doesn't have control over NK so that they too have to go the UN route?

RW, > Bush was right with his 'go it alone

Maybe you haven't noticed, but when it came to North Korea, Bush kept repeating the importance of six-party talks.

Of course it's obvious that Bush probably didn't know (or concern himself) with the details, but I see no sign that Obama is any different.

It's likely that China is now in a position to actually care about North Korea's antics. It couldn't hurt to have Obama in the White House, though.

"China said showed firm opposition to Pyongyang's atomic ambitions."

Excuse me? Didn't Josef prove that China doesn't really care?
