Accredidation? For what? What is the title you are accredited for?

I'm going to see if the company I work for will issue me an accredidation certificate.

What a joke.

I had to earn an engineering degree from an accredited university. Without that, I'd get laughed out the door if all I had was a Microsoft ID number.

>>I guess you enjoy your world of make believe where you can shout your mouth off
without having an understanding of FACTS.

Allow me to butt in. Facts are not what you state in your posts either. Windows and IE are one product!!! WOW. The OS and the browser are one!! WOOOOW
you don't see how the DOJ action could be justified? WOW

in one of your posts:
MS is a very switched on
customer oriented company which can and will (and always has) react appropriately
and rapidly to customer needs.

True, and also react proprietarily. and, very true, always REACTS Never innovative.

You say
If SUN wins its lawsuit, the world will see that JAVA is owned by SUN and is just as
proprietary as Windows.

Hmmm. How is Java proprietary if it will run on all operating systems that have a JVM? You see, Billy's scared becuase of the fact that Java would marginalize windows. He wouldn't be worrying about obscuring and deforming Java so much if it wasn't a threat. You're making me doubt your fundamental understanding of technology.
In any case, programmers must have a good reason to have embraced Java so quickly. Let's just wait and see what the world is coming to.

>My Microsoft Certification ID is 262819.

And my MS Certification ID is 3565. I guess that's about 259254 before your's, huh? (Unless MS skipped a few, or use a Pentium to assign numbers...).

I've been doing Windows and network consulting to Fortune 500 and other companies (this would be in the US) for a few years myself. I've seen firsthand the effects of the crap^H^H products published by a certain company on the bottom line of these companies, and I've seen several high level managers who bought the marketing BS coming out of Redmond hook, line, and sinker, who later were suddenly unemployed when the true costs of their proposed "solutions" became apparent.

Of course, this doesn't usually become apparent to the pointy haired managers and hand wavers until after the budget has been all spent, and the project is only half-way (or less) to completion.

A long time ago, it was said that no one ever got fired for buying IBM. Some people would have you believe that is true today for Microsoft. The reality is just a little bit different.
