REi suppose if there's another run up tomorrow, we will see selling on Thursday!

This week the Stock Market has worn me out. I have decided to have one portfolio for "investing" long term and another for "short" (maybe a couple of days) trades. Having everything in the market with this volatility is frustrating. I am going to try the free two weeks of "daytrader" and see if that seems to make sense. I would like to make short term profits while I let my long term shares rollar coaster, if that is their plan!
There are a lot of people making money on that plan this week!
The long term investors, on the other hand, who got scared, probably all LOST money this week, by selling (unless you also consider , as Wm ONeill does, that you have lost also when the price goes down even if you dont sell. That is certainly how one's broker thinks as he looks over our margin accounts!)
