The mother of a 3-year-old pointed to a spot right in front of the garage and told him in Spanish that was where he should pee - which he promptly did. This, of course, distracted me giving the 3 men time to clear off the jewelry table and for the other 2 women to grab what they could. I'd think being dressed like this would be the best way to discourage such behavior. Course, you're in CA and I suspect they disfavor law abiding citizens arming themselves.
