Don't get me wrong, I've eaten 3 dozen in a sitting many times.

See, I think of the first person that ate an onion every time I cut one for my wife and then have my eyes burn for an hour after...now there's a courageous (or a hungry) dude.

>> Still to look at them unknowing... maybe the first guy to eat one was blind but had a great sense of smell.

I knew someone who, many years ago, swallowed a piece of shell with one that sliced his intestines from one end to the other. Almost died in the hospital in NOLA.

I just don't need that at all.

I don't know...I just smell a fresh oyster and the first thing I want to do is taste it.

Don't get me wrong, I've eaten 3 dozen in a sitting many times.

Ugh......I see an oyster and I run the other way.
