I think that you are mistaken. It's about "better" medical care by means of power and control of everyone's life because centralized control is what works best. The former is the objective; the latter is the means.

You are the most dense and naive person I have ever met. These people don't want to give us better health care, they don't care except for the dollars we give then through their tax's. Much of those tax's will go to these socialists (communists really) pocket! Why do you think they tell us to drive smaller cars while they fly expensive jets? They know global warming is bull, but they want to use carbon tax to make themselves richer! That is what power is really about, ultimate greed!

it's not about better medical care, but about power and controlling everyone's life

You are as wrong as anyone I have read recently. If centralized control worked best the USSR and China would look very differently than they do today. These are just the two most obvious examples. There are thousands of others.

Put doctors and patients in control of the medical decisions. We do not need a government rationing board to tell us we don't meet the quality years of life remaining standards to receive that procedure. The thing about rationing is that it keeps getting ratcheted down. The death spiral keeps getting tighter.

Funny, if you talk to people in countries where socialized healthcare is in effect you might not think it "better" medical care.....

The government lie here is the given impression that healthcare will be better for everyone, such is not the case. What in essence that the gov't is doing is lowering everyones healthcare in order to give 'free' healthcare to, what, 15% of the population?...... Bankrupting the country for the 15% that can't take care of themselves sounds pretty insane to me....

While I don't believe there is any conspiracy or malicious intent, the Left has an inherent belief that peoples' lives should be controlled by government in minute detail.
