The varous Blue Cross/Blue Shield organizations are non-profit, and they're part of the problem. How's a co-op going to do any better?

I am sticking with my home boys, (liberals) on this one Chinu. We need a public option. If we end up with co-ops the insurance companies win. Look at how insurance companies exploded on the stock market yesterday. That tells the tale i.e. people think they have won. I had a hip replacement two years ago through medicare (just reached the age) and it went as smooth as silk. I did not wait an hour and got one of the best surgeons in the country to do it. Flawless operation. Walking on my own in a two weeks and I did no physical therapy. Back on my bike in three months. I injured my hip as a youth and arthritus ate up the joint. I don't even know I have the hip replacement, it was such a good operation. Insurance scare tactics by the insurnace companies disgust me.
